The jam, which had probably removed the long strips of thin plastic encoder slot. It is the printer the paper is still jammed. Slide the cartridge into the slot again. You can use a screwdriver or other tool to access the tape.
Make sure that the printer is turned off when you do so.
This should be corrected.
